Welcome to gr0x0rd's gentoo linux wiki.
This living document is intended to be used as a resource for end users aspiring to use gentoo linux.
In spring of 2006 I participated in a company meeting in Edmonton, Alberta, where an IBM consultant by the name of John Elm made a presentation using his thinkpad laptop. At the end of the presentation I noticed that he had been running Windows in a Window using vmware: my first exposure to Virtualization on a desktop. I then asked him about the operating system he was running, and he told me about gentoo.
